No. StitchWIP Pro is a one-time in-app purchase. See the Features page for everything Pro unlocks. The current launch price is $7.99 and may increase as new features are added — early adopters are grandfathered in at the price they paid.
Tap any Pro feature to open the upgrade sheet, then tap Restore Purchase at the bottom. As long as you’re signed into the same Apple ID you used to purchase Pro, it will restore instantly and free of charge. If you have any trouble, email us at support@stitchwipstudio.com.
Go to Settings → Export Backup to save all your data (projects, inventory, wishlist, patterns) as a JSON file to your Files app or iCloud Drive. On your new device, open StitchWIP, go to Settings → Import Backup, and select that file to restore everything. Your regular iPhone backup also preserves StitchWIP data if you restore from it.
StitchWIP is currently available on iPhone (iOS). Android and Android tablet support is in the works and coming soon. iPad support is also on the roadmap.
No account needed. All your data is stored locally on your device and never sent to any server. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Yes — go to Settings → Export Backup to save all your data as a JSON file to your Files app or iCloud Drive. StitchWIP also automatically saves an internal backup every time you open the app as an extra safety layer. Your regular iPhone backup preserves your data too. To transfer to a new device, use Settings → Import Backup. Cross-device sync is on the roadmap.
Because StitchWIP stores everything locally on your device, deleting the app also deletes all your data — projects, sessions, inventory, everything. Before deleting, go to Settings → Export Backup to save a copy to your Files app or iCloud Drive. You can then reinstall and restore it anytime using Settings → Import Backup. Your Pro purchase is safe regardless — tap any Pro feature and use the Restore Purchase button on the upgrade sheet.
A SAL (Stitch-A-Long) is a community event where a designer releases a pattern in parts on a schedule and stitchers work on it together. StitchWIP has built-in SAL support with part tracking and per-part progress logging.
